Supporting best practice in leadership, management and finance
About GP Business
GP Business is a resource providing practical, accessible advice and information on all the important factors affecting the life of a busy general practice.
Formerly Medeconomics, we have been providing GPs and practice managers with essential advice on finance, management and GP contracts since 1980.
The website is organised as a practice management toolkit with the added extras of in-depth analysis and a database of claimable fees.
The content is aimed primarily at partners and practice managers, helping them to be individually more effective and make their practices more efficient. But there is also much to learn for GPs and managers at all stages of their careers who want to better understand the complexities of practice management and GP partnerships.
Now, more than ever, to be successful in general practice requires a highly performing team, and we are here for all professionals working in general practice.
Successful teams need effective management and great leaders at all levels, and we also give emphasis to leadership skills in primary, with content to support clinicians' and managers' growth and development as leaders - to help strengthen their practice and primary care network.
Our aim is to make a subscription to GP Business excellent value for money by helping practices to maximise profits, strengthen their teams, meet performance targets and provide the highest quality service to patients.
